Bio:
Flora Shannon Bowley is an emerging Northwest painter known for her strong use of color, subtle mark making, and multi-layered paintings on canvas and smaller work on bamboo. Her organically inspired creations draw the viewer in again and again, each time revealing somthing new. Inspired by both urban and natural settings, Flora currently lives and works full time as a painter in Portland, Oregon where she is surrounded by cityscapes, lush forests, changing seasons, and a multitude of tiny living things.
